AN IMPORTANT UPDATE...

The votes are tallied. 

96.33% voted yes to extend a call to Rev. Paul E. Walters. 

The call papers have been signed by Al Villarreal, President and Terrie Boicourt, Secretary.  The papers will be delivered to the Southeast Michigan Synod Office for Bishop Hanson to sign and then they will be mailed to Pastor Walters. 

He has up to four weeks to decide to accept the call (but we have the inside scoop that he was very excited to hear we voted yes.) 

The actual numbers were 210 yes votes, 8 no votes, and 3 abstained.
